A Impulse Response, or an IR, is a wav file containing an account of a short audio signal being played through a specific bit of hardware or in a specific space.

Yet, load that equivalent impulse response file in to a IR Impulse Response loader and you will hear a devoted sonic diversion of the space wherein the IR was recorded. Or then again, on account of a guitar cabinet Impulse Response, you will hear the frequency response of the sampled amp.
