Auto convert incompatible songs into formats of iDevices, avoid any greyed out iTunes songs caused by incompatible file types; 4. Manage iPhone music library, create iPhone ringtones, make personal playlists, delete songs, edit music info, etc.
Eliminate the restrictions and possible errors that come along with iTunes. If the iTunes songs are downloaded from online or ripped from CD, there may be a format incompatible issue that causes the grayed out iTunes tracks on iPhone.
You can change the music format to make the problematic songs playable. Plug your iPhone and open iTunes. Then find the greyed out iTunes songs in iTunes library. Right click on the greyed out song and click on "Create AAC version". Then an AAC version of the song will be created. Delete the original grayed out songs.
After you make AAC copies of all the grayed out songs, you simply need to sync iPhone with iTunes library. This method may be annoying if there are many grayed out songs with a dotted circle in iTunes.

I am having the same experience as other users in that a new playlist is being created and the WMA files are being automatically loaded there.
I am seeing the same issue where the gray circle is appearing next to files that have been "successfully" transferred. I simply deleted these files and tried to load them again. For my current audiobook, they loaded with no problems on the second try. As long as I can listen to the audiobooks, I'm happy. So far, I'm not running into any show-stoppers. Good luck all! Feb 21, AM. Feb 24, PM in response to cincmap In response to cincmap. I have this same problem with audiobooks and Overdrive. There is plenty of room on my iPhone and all my settings are right. The kicker is that if I delete and try transfer again, it will eventually fully convert.
BUT parts that previously converted won't. It also creates a new playlist for the book instead of putting it in audiobooks. I haven't been able to get my last three books to fully convert all parts at the same time. I have dropped back to using my old Philips MP3 player. Feb 24, PM.
